General remarks:

The audio quality is far from being perfect, this may induce the audience to leave the webinar in the early phases.

The absence of the speaker image may as well induce the audience to loose attention.

Focusing for a long time on one slide is not helping to keep the attention.

The speaker in the “Test automation” section has a better capacity to retain the attention.

The webinar was created by an implementation partner, it focuses on the migration options offered by the Sap S/4 HANA solution.

Content remarks:

It clearly explains what the product is.

Apparently there is discrepancy between the first slide content and the presenter speech: The first slide states that ECC was DB “independent”. Actually the presenter states that it was DB dependent. This may sound irrelevant at a first glance but the topic is very important, as S/4 HANA does not allow any alternative database. In this situation it is true that this is a simplification as there are no database-specific configurations.

The webinar focus is the migration the the S/ 4 HANA. The speakers describes a a the tool to be used for test cases, including reusable templates. Test automation concept could have been a good candidate for a brief “demo” in order to show the advantages of this solution.

The writer opinion is that this webinar looks more like a marketing presentation. The expectation was to explore a real case experience including lesson learned.

For such a challenging topic the project management challenges have been only shortly mentioned during the final Q&A session.
